Third, the correct use of sawing parameters, mainly including saw tangent speed, feed rate, saw belt tension, etc. The ideal chip for sawing materials should be compact, silvery and have a warm hand feeling. If there are sintered, brown-blue, thick or powdery chips, the relevant parameters need to be adjusted. 

Fourth, properly use cutting fluid and its mixture to lubricate and cool band saw blades, and clean accessories on serrations in time. 

Fifth, correctly "running in" the new band saw blade. "Running-in" is the natural wear of the saw teeth, removing the burrs on the tooth edges, enabling the band saw blade to gradually enter the normal sawing state, and avoiding premature fracture and curling of the saw teeth. It is especially important when it is a profile, pipe and special-shaped material with sharp cross section. During "running-in", the machine parameters should be adjusted to about 50% of the normal sawing efficiency, and the sawing area is generally 200-600cm2. After abnormal conditions, gradually adjust the machine parameters to enter the normal sawing state.
